Rude Awakening

Started playing with the new DS Lite especially Brain Age this past nite. First time playing this game gave brain age of 70 then after a couple of days of working thru it went down to 40 :) He he yeah 40 wut a number too young to fall into that category
Its a really interesting game. Take for instance our dependence on calculators & cell phone gadgets to do our calculations. This game has a 100 addition, subtraction, multiplication questions ur supposed to answer as quickly as u can. Sad how technology has ruined our great memory of a brain from being being so stuck on the 'wonderful' calculator.....

So yeah playing that all nite & Super Mario led to waking up late thinking hey its Saturday still hence driving like a maniac on the highway to get to work....

Hmm in the news today Obama would be selecting his vp candidate this week. :) I wish it was Bloomberg or Al Gore even. but I doubt *sigh* watch it be Hillary Clinton to try to use the 'female' card as 1st vp.... I mean I'm glad that she ran for president but still its about Ur credentials not oh i want to be the 1st female president/vp.

Something else read in this weeks businessweek, companies such as GE are using the Olympics as their platform areas to showcase their innovative ideas. One item discussed was this ultra sound type of device that can detect ligaments or damages incurred by athletes to determine remedies for them. Another one was with Nike where they gave Le Bron James & Kobe Bryant shoes that have so new fiber in them that is 5X's the strength of steel or even the Phelps dude gets goggles from Speedo that help with seeing things crystal clear while in the water to compete. What ever happened to using Ur abilities to win a game & not something some marketing director felt would help in winning the game & bring in the tangible returns to the company :)

Argh too much sugar in the body from cake at work. too many b-days at work its like y r u going to stuff yourself with cream,sugar, and eggs? Couldn't ppl just pitch in & give the b-day person some gift card or a nice trip to a baseball/football game, or better yet one day pass to a spa to relax from all the turmoil the person has endured at work :) nope ppl don't think in that manner ; they want to be stuffed with more sugared stuff which will go straight to their thighs eh & they'll complain later "I'm getting fat".....

Day of Reckoning

Well my first blog post :) hmmm wonder what to write? Monday it is and already I'm planning out what to get done this weekend. Surprisingly ever since completing university not so long ago I've become accustomed to shutting out all friends & acquaintances i've made thru the my uni yrs. Alwayz concentrating on getting that dear old 4.0 while discarding the extracurricular events & programs in school. I kinda wished I didn't but oh well I guess it was worth it.

So now I've decided hey I'm working nowadays in mgmt that heck time to get in touch with folks I've ignored :) So its come to 'Hi hello how r things coming along in Ur life? Great right kool we should meet up" So while some of these meeting have come to enjoyable times some have turned into plz shoot me now or I'm so going to gag. I remember one of these meetings involved a lunch meeting where my acquaintance decided hey i already had lunch but I'm not so hungry. Heck y come to a lunch if Ur not going to eat right. Turns out the conversation involved a one person show as in moi yapping away which does get kind of boring if there isn't some form of 2 way communication channel.....

Has any1 noticed how the olympics have some form of rigged results? Take for instance gymnastics.... How is it possible that Nastia from USA could have the same score as the Chinese gymnast He something or another but in the end Nastia gets silver even though 'He' has some errors. Heck in vault finals the Korean gymnast got gold even with all those penalties. :) Got to luv those judges
I wonder whose providing them with those kickbacks huh :P

Have u seen the season premier of the Hills show. The episode just seemed like its soo fake. look at the manner each of the girls Lauren Conrad speaks to her friend Lo. Plz ppl don't speak with their eyes popping out of their pupils sheesh ppl are obsessed with these ppl K I'm babbling got to catch some zzz's
